Join us on a peaceful winter camping trip to Cape Disappointment State Park on the Southern Washington coast! In this video, we’re soaking in the quiet beauty of the park during the off-season. From relaxing beach walks to simply gazing at the powerful Pacific Ocean, it’s the perfect winter getaway. Watch as we set up camp, enjoy cozy, delicious meals, and try to stay warm and dry from a passing storm. Despite the weather, we make the most of our time relaxing under the pop-up tent and around the campfire, listening to podcasts. Then, we retreat to our rooftop tent, staying warm and dry as the rain pounds all night.
In this adventure, We hike four historic mine trails in Joshua Tree National Park. From exploring old mining remnants to taking in the stunning desert landscape, join us on a journey through some of the park’s most fascinating and scenic trails! The trails featured in this video are: ~Contact Mine Trail: A short but interesting hike to a historic mine site with sweeping desert views. ~Elton Mine Trail: A trail that leads to a well-preserved mining area, with great photo opportunities and desert scenery. ~Eagle Cliff Mine Trail: This moderately difficult hike brings you to an old mine with incredible panoramic views of the desert below and an old miners cabin. ~Lost Horse Mine Trail: One of the park's most popular trails, showcasing a preserved 19th-century mine and offering stunning views of Joshua Tree’s unique landscape.
